Chinese multinational technology company, Lenovo is well known for laptop manufacturing but the company has a couple of decent smartphones.

The post also indicates that this smartphone will sport a huge 6,000mAh battery. This is not the first time that Mr. Cheng will be unveiling salient information regarding an upcoming smartphone.

Recall that some months back, he posted an image of a smartphone with a curved design and glossy metal body. This may also be for the Lenovo S5 but all these are just speculations and nothing has been confirmed.

I really wish that Lenovo will continue making phones. After killing ZUK, it makes sense to make solid Lenovo phones with low margins and keep the high-end, expensive devices to Motorola. They’ve made a lot of good phones over the years, with the Lenovo P2 being the best SD625 phone in terms of battery life due to a combination of battery saving features (The new SD625 powered Nubia may be the only alternative to it if they also stick with an AMOLED panel), their only downside is the weak aftersales software support but, provided that there’s interest in the phones, you may find a lot of custom roms for their models to solve the problem for you (And since for most phones the custom roms even solve a lot of issues that the manufacturers don’t take care of in Stock roms I can live with that). Not to mention that after buying Motorola, their cameras have actually become decent (Not Samsung/LG/HTC/Google level, but still heaps better than most Chinese devices except maybe the latest Huawei models)
