Huawei P20 Series To Expunge MicroSD Memory Card Expansion Slot

Huawei P20 Pro

Huawei will hold a global conference on March 27 in Paris, France where it will unveil its new Huawei’s P20 series. As a flagship series in the first half of the year, there are so many expectations for the Huawei P20 series models. As of now, speculations and rumors have exposed most aspects of these devices. However, there are still some salient points that have not been touched. Fresh information suggests that the Huawei P20 series models will eliminate the use of MicroSD memory card expansion slot.

Huawei will launch Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite models at a press conference on March 27 as stated earlier. In these three models, the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will abandon the MicroSD memory card expansion slot and replace it with a dual Nano SIM card slot. The reason why Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will not need an SDcard slot may be related to their large memory. If the memory starts at 128GB, it is understandable to remove the expansion slot.

For me a micro Sd Slot is a must have criteria. I don’t like the phone to stop working and loosing the internal data. A micro sd can be extracted and inserted into the next device if its the case. Sad to see more and more Companys expunging the micro sd slot
