Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design

Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is one of the largest smartphones manufacturers in the world and the company recently released about seven smartphones. One of its recent devices is the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design which uses a curved OLED display. This smartphone is the third smartphone to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor behind the vivo duo but the first for Huawei. Current information suggests that South Korean manufacturing giant, LG, may be responsible for successfully mating the Goodix-made reader to the display.

LG has worked with a couple of smartphone manufacturing giant including Xiaomi and Google. Huawei is the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world thus a contract with Huawei gives LG a chance to close the gap between it and Samsung. However, LG was not involved in the OLED display of the P20 series so this is probably a low-volume deal. Nevertheless, it is a good sign of better things to come for LG.
