Xiaomi initiates Mi Crowdfunding platform in India

Xiaomi has just launched a crowdfunding platform in India called ‘Mi Crowdfunding’. The program is new for India but not for China where Xiaomi has been running a similar program for years. As can be understood, Xiaomi makes products a reality through this platform on the basis of interest and likes. In India, Xiaomi will follow a similar pattern and system.

Users can visit the page on Xiaomi’s official website to know more. As per current info, Xiaomi will keep bringing a list of products on its crowdfunding platform. These products will be deemed worthy or unworthy on the basis of likes by users. If a certain number of likes is reached, Xiaomi will make that product happen. Users will also have to pay for the product through the platform itself. If the various criteria of the listing are not met before the deadline, backers will be refunded the complete price.
