Gizchina News of the week

While we have no idea what these devices might turn out to be, there are speculations that one of the devices might be the unannounced Xiaomi Mi Nite 4 – the successor to the Mi Note 3 which was announced back in September 2017. Still based on assumptions, the second device is tipped to be the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 – the sequel to the Mi Max 2 announced about a year ago.

The Mi Max 3 seems, however, more likely than the Mi Note 4, knowing that the Max 3 could arrive as early as May/June, while the Mi Note 4 is still months away from being announced, following Xiaomi’s launch history.

Contrary to previous reports, it has now been confirmed that the Snapdragon 670  will come with a 2+6 CPU core arrangement, instead of four high-end and four low-end cores in ARM big.LITTLE configuration. Qualcomm is scheduled to release the Snapdragon 670 chipset sometime this year which it intends to ship out for mid-range devices.
