The HTC U12 Plus has leaked in all its glory revealing all aspects of its design. It brings to table all the current trending design principles except the notch on top of the display. HTC has instead gone for a thin bezel design to ince=rese the aspect ratio. The plethora of leaks also includes the bootloader page and the sign first-time boot-up page of the U12 Plus.
Glossy back in tow!
The design is in conjunction with its predecessor when it comes to the glossy curved back and the candy bar design with curved edges on the corners but differs in a few aspects. Firstly, the bezels this time are quite thin. HTC might have done this to achieve a higher screen aspect ratio while keeping the size of the phone small. The display does not have curved edges like most of the current smartphones in the market.

The front is adorned with the display and a dual camera setup up top. Another noticeable feature on the top bezel is the On the back you’ll find another dual camera setup with the fingerprint scanner sitting right below it. This makes the U12 Plus is quad camera phone. The back seems to be made of glass with a glossy coating on top like the U11 while the midframe looks to be a metallic affair. The USB Type-C charging port sits on the bottom beside the speaker grill. Sadly, there’s no 3.5mm jack available. The power and volume keys sit on the right side of the frame while the sim tray sits on the left.
Apart from this, judging from the previous reports, the HTC U12 Plus will feature the Snapdragon 845, 4GB of RAM, IP68 certification, a 5.99-inch display and a 3500mAh battery. Nothing much is known about the camera specifics. Watch this space for more!
