OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Pro To Launch In Taiwan on May 7

OPPO is among the top 5 smartphone makers. This means it is capable of making attractive products. But what’s more important, the company has to develop and offer better devices. Of course, the Chinese manufacturer understands this and its current flagships, the OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Dream Mirror are the best proof of that. Recently, it announced the R15 is the first step of the brand’s gradual change. This simply means we should expect for more attractive and powerful smartphones in the future. But before that happens, the manufacturer is expanding its markets. As for now, the next destination for the mentioned flagships is going to be Taiwan. According to ePrice, both phones will hit the Taiwanese market on May 7. The OPPO R15 is priced at NT$15,990 ($537), while the OPPO R15 Pro (Dream Mirror) will be available for NT$18,990 ($638).

In terms of design, the OPPO R15 adopts a double-sided glass appearance along with a metal frame. In addition to the double-sided glass body, the ultra-wide field of view screen is also a major highlight. The R15 comes with a larger 6.28-inch screen that fits on the same body as the 6-inch R11s. So the visual area is increased by 4.35%, while the screen ratio is increased to 90% as well.

It is also packed with the latest MediaTek Helio P60 AI chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 3450mAh battery supporting VOOC flash charge technology, 20MP front-facing camera with a 3-HDR hardware real-time classification exposure technology, 16+5MP rear camera, and ColorOS 5.0 out of the box.

As the name suggests, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror comes with a body that reflects like a mirrorThis version has been designed jointly with a superstar and a color master Karim Rashid from the American industrial design community. The most eye-catching difference is the Snapdragon 660 chip instead of the P60.

There are various color options. The regular variant comes in thermal red, snow white, and star purple, while the Pro model is available in two variants such as the Dream Mirror Red and Dream Mirror Purple.
