VIVO X21 UD goes Global

The VIVO X21 UD was launched earlier in March in China and while it has been only available in Homeland China, the device has today made it outside of its domestic market. VIVO is, specifically releasing the phone in the South-east Asia country of Singapore before heading to other countries. The device is priced at S$799/ $600, £440 or AU$800 and should be available for purchase through telcos M1 and StarHub and other authorized retailers.

Now that the VIVO X21 UD has been rolled out outside of China, it is our firm belief that same would make it to other markets in the following weeks. The VIVO X21 UD was announced earlier in March alongside the regular VIVO X21 which relies solely on a rear fingerprint sensor.

Powered by a 3,200mAh battery, the VIVO X21 UD is an iPhone X copycat, featuring a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display with 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, with an irregular screen or if you like a display notch as well as a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display spans through the entire front panel with little or no bezels, hence the presence of an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display with 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and an unusual aspect ratio of 19:9 because of the presence of a notch on the top side. The display covers majority portion on the front panel and has ultra narrow bezels around the display.

Not a lot of power is crammed into the VIVO X21 UD, as the processor isn’t the highest-end Snapdragon 845, but the Snapdragon 660 coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. View the VIVO X21 UD complete specs here.

While Samsung is yet to announce any device with the latest under-display fingerprint sensor, VIVO already has the VIVO X20 UD, X21 UD, and the VIVO APEX all to its credit, while Huawei, on the other hand, has just recently launched the Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS with a 512GB of storage.
