Gizchina News of the week
The phone has been pictured in two colors, black and red. It features a design similar to the Galaxy S8 but with a few changes here and there. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite will be a toned down, smaller variant of the Galaxy S8. That being said, other than it being a more compact version, the S8 Lite might tone down on the processor, memory and camera configuration. One very evident downgrade is the absence of PDAF on the rear camera. Expect a downgrade in the overall performance of the phone if Samsung decides to cut down on the internals. The fingerprint scanner still sits on the back beside the camera. According to images from TENAA, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite will retain the Infinity Display.
A leakster posted on Twitter that the S8 Lite would see the light of day on the 21st of March. The imges were also courtesy of this tipster.
