The Vivo X21i made an appearance on Geekbench yesterday. Today it has stopped by TENAA to reveal its design and specifications. Judging from the specifications, this phone is probably centered at selfie lovers.
The Vivo X21i measures 154.37 x 74.98 x 6.99mm and weighs 159g. The display stands tall at 6.28 inches and is an OLED panel with 2280 x 1080p resolution and a notch on the top. The notch houses the earpiece and the 24MP front camera. The resolution of the front camera gives us reason to believe that this will be a selfie-centered phone. On the glass back sits a dual camera setup comprising of 12MP and 5MP sensors. An octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz runs the business here. According to the Geekbench listing, the processor is MediaTek Helio P60. The memory on this one is 6GB of RAM and 64GB of on board storage. A 3170mAh battery and Android 8.1.0 Oreo power the X21i.
Gizchina News of the week
Pictured in the images on TENAA is a metallic Grey variant. The fingerprint scanner is a physical unit that sits on the back of the phone. Thanks to the thin profile of the Vivo X21i, the camera on the back protrudes a little. The power and volume buttons sit on the right side of the frame. The headphone jack seems to sit on the top left corner of the frame. The phone sports a design similar to its siblings, the X21 series. Vivo has not revealed anything about the X21i, but since it has passed by TENAA, expect a launch in the coming months.
