Three HMD made Nokia phones have just received regulatory approval in Russia. Bearing model numbers TA-1075, TA-1105, and TA-1116, these new devices are fresh to the rumor mills, so we quite not sure what name they would bear when eventually released.
The certifications, unlike that of China’s TENAA, don’t do much in the way of revealing specs and monikers, but they there are indications that these devices might be a refresh of some of Nokia’s previous lineup.
This speculation is based on a previous report which alleged that a successor to year’s Nokia 5 could be in the works. The report first emanated from HMD’s Chief product officier Juho Sarvikas in his response to a query regarding the arrival of the Nokia 5 (2018) from a person when he slyly replied, “stay tuned :)”. This is obviously not a confirmation but it is very close to a yes. Sarvikas is a very active outlet of Nokia’s official information and it is likely that we’ll hear from him when something concrete is ready.

Further affirming our assumption, HMD’s CMO Pekka Rantala, back at MWC 2018 hinted that a refresh of the Nokia 5, 3, and 2 could arrive sometime this year.
Please do note that these are all speculations and rumors, but the regulatory approval in Russia is a good indication that HMD got some other smartphones up its sleeves aside from the Nokia X6 slated for May 16 unveiling.
