Lei Jun Re-Confirms Xiaomi’s “End Of May” Conference

On May 15th, Xiaomi officially announced that it would hold a news conference in Shenzhen at the end of May. The company did not state the exact date or the product(s) that we should expect but many chaps already believe that it should be May 31st. Today, Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, reiterated that the company will hold a press conference at the “end of May” but he wasn’t also specific. This conference will be held in Shenzhen and Xiaomi will be releasing a plethora of product as confirmed by Lei Jun. His statement roughly reads “from the Mi MIX 2S to Shenzhen conference”. This suggests that a superior to the Mi MIX 2S is arriving at Shenzhen.

From previous reports, Xiaomi will release the Xiaomi Mi 7, Xiaomi Mi 8 and probably the Mi Band 3 in this conference. The device dubbed “Xiaomi Mi 8” may actually be a higher version of Xiaomi Mi 7 which will be used to celebrate the company’s 8th anniversary.

We also know that Xiaomi is in the habit of unleashing multiple products throughout the year, although only a few of these actually makes the headlines. Thus we are expecting more devices which will probably be overshadowed by the flagship smartphones in the conference. Apart from the Xiaomi Mi 7, Xiaomi Mi 7 8th anniversary edition (or Xiaomi Mi 8) and the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, which other device are you expecting Xiaomi to unveil?
