ZTE’s new Nubia phone brand is finally here with their flagship 5-inch Nubia Z5 which is not only the first Nubia phone, but also becomes the world’s thinnest phablet!
The Nubia Z5 launched in Beijing today at 3456 Yuan ($553) with 32GB memory which is slightly cheaper than the Oppo Find 5 32GB which was announced just a few days ago. Like the Find 5 the Nubia comes packed with a 5-inch display, Qualcomm quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel rear camera, but packs all of this in to a much thinner design!
Gizchina News of the week
In fact the Nubia Z5 looks set to become the world’s thinnest 5-inch phablet phone as it measures in at just 7.5mm at its thinnest point and 8mm at it’s thickest! In comparison the Oppo Find 5 measures 8.8mm, the HTC Butterfly is 9.08 and the popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2 measures 9.4mm!
The Nubia Z5 will go on sale early January (similar to the Find 5) along with a limited edition titanium version of the phone which will cost almost $1300!
can u tell me how to buy this phone from official website?
wow thats nearly the rate of a Note 2 (original) on taobao or electronic city in beijing
droll, Oppo Find 5, ZTE Nubia. Chinese smartphones are truly getting better. However, reading some hands-on on Oppo Find 5, a week ago (if I may recall). I think Butterfly, Nubia and Find 5 are fully fledged Smartphone, not Phablet, well the definition became vague whether what definition to decide a Phablet. But a large screen phone without specific unique 2-hands usability (and Stylus-Pen) IMHO supposed to be called Smartphone.
