Oppo seems now set to unveil a new flagship device, at least according to a new teaser that is now live on Oppo’s Weibo page and Oppo India twitter page. While the teaser doesn’t give away details of the device, it does reveal the name of the upcoming device to be the Oppo Find X.
Aside from the teaser image with the let X, the caption reads “Hi! It’s been a long time. The OPPO Futuristic Flagship phone is coming. #OPPOFindX” this is an indication that the device in question will be the Oppo Find X which has for long been rumored to be in the making. The device is supposed to be the sequel to the Oppo Find 7 which dates back to 2014, so it is definitely due to be refreshed.
Gizchina News of the week
Earlier in the year, we were told the Chinese brand had reportedly trademarked “OPPO Find X” moniker and may be due for unveiling soon. Soon after that, a render of a device alleged to be the Oppo Find X surfaced revealing a smartphone with all the gimmicks in place. Aside from a notched display with virtually no bezels, the render suggests the Oppo Find X will feature a triple camera setup as seen on Huawei’s P20 Pro, and now rumored for the Galaxy S10. Interestingly, the render shows no sign of a fingerprint scanner, so it likely might settle for an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Given that Oppo has already started teasing the Find X officially, its official launch might not be far off.
