The Android tablet space has stagnated to a large extent due to the expansion of smartphone screens to 6.0-inches gradually. On the other hand, Google is planning to chew up what remains of the market with Chrome OS tablets. However, giants like Samsung still continue to persevere with new models. One such model is spotted at the Bluetooth certification website today. The model seems to be Galaxy Tab A (2018).
Gizchina News of the week
The model number spotted for the Galaxy Tab A (2018) is SM-T595. Also, the page itself calls it Galaxy Tab A2 XL. Now if we consider last year’s Galaxy Tab A 10.1 carried a model number SM-T585, it becomes easy to say that this new model is a refresh.
If we remember well, a Galaxy Note 8 Oreo firmware leak unearthed a number of Samsung devices earlier this year. Therein was a gta2xl model which seems to be the same as mentions here at Bluetooth SIG. So, we expect this device would ship with Android Oreo.
Sadly, Bluetooth certifications don’t tend to reveal any crucial information of a device. The same is the case with the Galaxy Tab A (2018). The Tab A is a mid-range offering from Samsung. After this certification, we can be certain that it will launch soon.
