Looks like Huawei will be skipping the number 11 and go forward with the Huawei Honor V12 this year. Proof of the same is the listing on TENAA and FCC that has revealed a few details about the upcoming device.
As compared to its predecessor’s 5.99-inch display, the V12 is listed as having a 5.5-inch display, and a 1900mAh battery. Shaving the display off by a few mm seems like a possibility but the battery size is definitely incorrect. Dimensionally, the phone will measure 147.8 x 71.2 x 8.6 mm.

The images that have appeared on TENAA speak volumes about the design of the Honor V12. For starters, the front looks like it will not be featuring a full-screen display. Even if it does, it won’t be the most impressive of devices to look at. The top bezel is complete with the earpiece, proximity and light sensors and the front camera. The antenna lines around the back and the frame confirm the presence of a metal body. The back houses the dual camera setup on the top left corner and the fingerprint reader. An “X-honor” branding sits at the bottom part which is something completely new. Maybe a new line of smartphones Honor is going to introduce?
