Alleged Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Passes by FCC

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is alleged to have passed by FCC under the models, M1804C3DG and M1804C3CG. Last week the Mi Max 3 received an alleged 3C certification after which another leak detailed the front and back panel of the smartphone. This was followed by alleged schematics of the phone which also detailed some specs. There was also a poster that claimed to be of the Mi Max 3 but was just a photoshopped Redmi Note 5 Pro (look below).

The FCC listing reveals the presence of MIUI 9, Bluetooth 4.2, and single band WiFi. The Mi Max 3 will reportedly sport a 6.99-inch full-screen display without a notch. The design is similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, albeit with larger dimensions. On the back, a vertically aligned dual camera setup sits on the top left corner which has now become an integral part of Xiaomi’s design. The fingerprint scanner also sits on the back. There are the usual physical buttons on the right side of the frame and the phone has a fairly thin profile. Antenna lines running on the back suggest the presence of a metal unibody.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will sport 6GB/4GB of RAM. Apart from this, an un-disclosed IMX363 snapper will be present with AI support. The processor is not yet known but speculations are rife that it might sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. A 20MP IMX363 is speculated to sit as the primary snapper on the rear. The phone is expected to be powered by a massive 550mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. MIUI 10 is expected to handle the software side of things on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. There is no solid information regarding the phablet but we expect a few more leaks to appear in the coming weeks. Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun confirmed that the Mi Max 3 will see the light of day in July.
