At the beginning of the month, Sony released a new flagship named the Xperia XZ2 Premium, which is the only high-end product equipped with a Snapdragon 845 chip and a 4K resolution HDR display. We have been waiting for its pricing to be revealed as soon as on July 5. But today, Sony officially announced the XZ2P US version will cost $999.99. The phone will be available for pre-order starting July 9 and it will ship on July 30.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium comes with strong photographing features, including a 19MP + 12MP dual-camera on the back as well as a 13MP shooter on the front. The main lens of the rear camera uses an aperture of f/1.8, while the second lens comes with an aperture of f/1.6). The camera also integrates an AUBE real-time image fusion processing chip. But this handset is powerful not only in terms of hardware only but also in terms of software upgrades, adding depth of field camera effects and professional black and white effect. It is worth mentioning the Chinese variant of the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is available for pre-order in this market, but the pricing will be announced on July 2 only. However, we have heard its pricing starts 5999 yuan ($937).
