Earlier today, a new Meizu device with model number M882Q has been certified by a Chinese radio transmission company, the handset in question may very well be the upcoming Meizu 16 flagship.
Meizu technology’s founder – Huang Zhang – previously revealed that the Meizu 16 will be using an 18:9 full screen design, it’ll be equipped with a dual speakers setup and a very narrow top bezel (narrower than what we find on the Samsung Galaxy S9+), just big enough to include a front-facing camera.
Specs wise, the Meizu 16 series, which comprehends the Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus, will be packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processors, with the Meizu 16 Plus going to be equipped with a maximum of 8GB of RAM, they’ll also both feature under-display fingerprint scanners.
Gizchina News of the week
For Meizu, the Meizu 16 will be the first 18:9 mobile phone, as well as the first Meizu phone with an UD fingerprint scanner. The flagship Snapdragon 845 CPUs will also be a big step forward from the previous Meizu 15 series.
