Gemini Lake powered laptop Chuwi LapBook SE hitting the market soon

Chuwi LapBook SE

Laptops equipped with the Intel’s 14nm Goldmont Plus platform (aka Gemini Lake) are still a pretty rare sight from the chinese manufacturers and we have seen these processors used mainly only for the mini-PCs like the Chuwi GBox. But seems like there will be one like that coming soon to the market with Chuwi LapBook SE.

Chuwi LapBook SE will be pretty thin and light laptop with alluminum alloy body, backlit keyboard  and fully laminated 13.3-inch IPS screen. Exact dimensions will be  317*215*15.9(H)mm with 1510g of weight. Build quality is really on the rise even among the chinese laptop brands and Chuwi are on top of such game.

Gizchina News of the week

As mentioned before the innards of the laptop are based on the Gemini Lake platform and features the Celeron N4100 processor with 4 physical cores and Turbo boost up to 2.4 GHz. With it also comes the improved Intel Graphics 600 with 12 EUs and 700 MHz clock. That all sounds pretty good, but we have to wait for the price to have a full chance of evaluating the model.

And speaking of Chuwi we should surely mention, that their Android 4G tablet Hi9 Air is currenly available in a Gearbest promo sale or the GBox mini-PC is having the same in their Aliexpress store.
