Bluboo S2 is still alive ! New video released for the model

Bluboo S2

Remember the very promising Bluboo S2 model from the MWC 2018 exhibition in Barcelona ? Well yes we need to dig deeper in the archives, because the last article dates back to February. But we were very impressed with the prototype model shown in there and for a good reason, because the rotating camera allowed the phone to get very high screen-to-body ratio (allegedly 91,16 %). And keep in mind, that was way before the VIVO Nex and Oppo Find X got out.

Gizchina News of the week

Since then we haven’t heard more or less anything about the Bluboo S2, which slightly put us off, because we started to get worried about the model being scrapped after all. Seems like the worries are unfounded, because Bluboo just released an appearance design video on the official channel. So the development is still alive and well, so we can hope for the early finish and release of the phone.

The specs probably haven’t changed so we can still expect the 6-inch display, customized 21MP Sony camera on the patented hinge capable of withstand 100.000 rotations, cut-out aluminum frame, ceramic material on the back, USB Type-C port with fast charge support and black or white color versions. Hopefully we will get soon some more info on their official website, because in our eyes this phone has potential and would be a shame to forget about it.

Bluboo is such a rubbish company. S1 was nothing like the payed reviews and promotional videos. And zero support or OTA upgrades.

Word of advice…stay away from Bluboo
