The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has again made an appearance, this time in Lilac Purple. The phablet is set to be released on the 9th of August at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York.
The Note 9 hardly looks any different from the Note 8. The same block-like body, infinity display up top with an array of sensors on the top bezel, and the same old chin at the bottom. The back is where the difference starts, and well, ends. The fingerprint scanner has been repositioned and now takes post below the camera setup. The back and the front are both adorned with curved glass so wireless charging should be a part of the bundle.
Gizchina News of the week
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 borrows heavily from its predecessor. Even though it might see an upgrade in the internals, it probably would not make a dent in the performance. The S-Pen, however, seems to have received a significant overhaul, with reports confirming the presence of Bluetooth. This makes the S-Pen more than just a drawing tool. Till now we have had images of the Coral Blue and the Midnight Black variants leaked. But there are probably more colours in tow. If a report from earlier is believed, the Note 9 will be available in 5 different colours.
