Samsung Wireless Charger Duo Leaks Ahead of August 9 Launch

The Galaxy Unpacked event that’s scheduled for 9th August in New York will see the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and a few other products. One such product, the Samsung Wireless Charger Duo has leaked ahead of the launch. The image of the retail box of the wireless charger was reported by the veteran tipster, Roland Quandt on Twitter.

The Wireless Charger Duo aka EP-N6100 will be the new wireless charger by Samsung. Simply going by what’s given on the retail box, the Charger Duo will be able to charge two devices simultaneously, two smartphones or a smartphone and a smartwatch or two smartwatches, basic permutation and combination. The box also confirms the name of the smartwatch as Galaxy Watch which was a rife speculation for quite a while.

If there’s one thing I’m excited about from the August 9 event, it’s this charger. It brings to table a simple solution to an old problem, charging two devices at once. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be nothing but a slight upgrade over the Note 9, giving no solid reason to switch, although the S-Pen, with its Bluetooth capability, might make a good argument. The Galaxy Watch is expected to be an upgrade over the Gear S3 and might bring about a few new features. Stay tuned, the Galaxy Unpacked event is not too far!
