Fortnite for Android to be initially exclusive to Galaxy Note 9 at launch


The big day is almost here, and as expected, the likes of Huawei, Honor and more will in the following days respond with the offerings. Tipped for August 9 unveiling, the Galaxy Note 9 is getting all theĀ last-minute pre-announcement attention and that includes more unofficial leaks as well as official promo/ teasers.

The Korean Chaebol is taking its promotion of the Galaxy Note 9 off the scenes, as it is reportedly working closely with Epic games – developers of the Fortnite Game to bring the Game fans of its upcoming Note 9. The Fortnite game is at the moment only available to iOS and Windows, and its been widely expected to hit the Android platform soon.

SeveralĀ sources familiar with ongoing between Samsung and Epic games report that Fortnite for Android will launch with the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9, probably as one of the pre-installed applications, and would remain exclusive to the device for 30 days before it will be released for the general Android platform.

9to5Google reports that Note 9 fans who pre-orders the device will be rewardedĀ FortniteĀ bonus freebies,Ā V-Bucks, player skins andĀ more. The planned launch would be a special promotion for both Fortnite and the Note 9 which will be promoted as a choice for gamers courtesy of the Snapdragon 845 inside and a ā€œvapor chamber heat pipeā€ thatā€™s designed to cool the device during extended gameplay sessions, and not forgetting the huge 4000mAh battery which should be ideal for long gaming session.

The Fortnite debuted on the iOS platform on March 15 and has since raked in millions of dollars per day, with its daily revenue hitting $2 million as of July 13. Speculations are that the Note 9 exclusiveness might limit revenue accruable to Epic from the Android Platform, but that should only last for a 30 days window as the game will available to other Android phone users latest September.

The Galaxy Note 9 has been subjects of leaks and rumors, with the latest leaks coming from Samsung itself, where it teased the Note 9 huge battery capacity in a video teaser. A reliable source also says Samsung plans to jack up the Note 9 pricing to a level considered too unrealistic.
