According to Japanese media, Macotakara, the new generation iPad Pro, which is expected to be released this fall got adjusted in size and they may be missing the 3.5mm headphone jack. Specifically, the 10.5 inch iPad Pro was adjusted from 250.6 x 174.1 x 6.1mm to 247.5 x 178.7 x 6mm while the 12.9-inch version was adjusted from 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9 mm to 280 x 215 x 6.4 mm. This means that Apple is making the two tablets shorter, thinner and wider.

If these measurements are true, then it is obvious that the new iPad Pro will use a narrow bezel to increase the screen-to-body ratio. Another information which may not go down well with iPad lovers is that the new iPad pro may dump the 3.5mm headphone jack. Obviously, all iPads are equipped with 3.5mm headphone jacks as standard, so the subtext of this idea is that the iPad Pro not expunged the 3.5mm jack but also does not have the standard patch cords. In addition, iPad Pro will support Face ID, but it can’t be enabled in horizontal mode, which may be less friendly to users who have long-term keyboard sets. Presently, there are two renders of the iPad Pro circulating online, one uses a notch while the other comes with thin bezels.
