Another Xiaomi ecological chain enterprise launched a new IP camera. The Xiaobai 1080P smart camera PTZ version is currently available for purchase at Tmall at a special price of 199 yuan ($29). If this is a new product for Xiaobai, we have to say it is almost the same as the Xiaomi MiJia 1080P Home Panoramic WiFi IP Camera announced back in May. There are only a few minor changes in design in comparison to the latter.

The Mijia smart camera PTZ version is a Double Eleven sales champion. So it’s not accidental why the Xiaobai 1080P smart camera PTZ version comes with the same design and the same features. It adopts a dual-axis rotary pan/tilt design, which can rotate freely up and down, left and right. The camera has a horizontal viewing angle of 360° and a vertical viewing angle of 115°, which solves the problem of monitoring dead angles.

At the same time, as the name suggests, it provides a 1080P resolution due to the F2.0 aperture with 4G full glass optical structure. The pictures are clear and smooth. Of course, the Xiaobai 1080P smart camera PTZ version supports an infrared night vision, with 10 940nm infrared fill light, automatic photosensitive switching. This IP camera also includes a dual-motor PTZ with 120 degrees wide angle, 360-degree panoramic shooting, self-adjusting multi-angle care, housekeeping mode after turning on a special option, and a multi-device online viewing support through TVs, computers, smartphones, tablets and so on. The multi-person sharing viewing makes it easier to control.

As you see, the Xiaobai 1080P smart camera PTZ version sports many features identical to the Mijia version. But there are some differences as well. Say, the latter comes with a f/2.1 large aperture and 8 940nm infrared fill light. So they shouldn’t be taken as absolutely identical models.
