Samsung Galaxy Note 8 receives price cut in India

Buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 anywhere in the world right now may not be the best decision, however, Samsung is offering you a mouth-watering offer if you decide to settle for one. Ahead of the reported Note 9 launch in India, Samsung mobile has significantly slashed down the price of last year’s flagship Note 8 in the country.

Previously priced at about  Rs 68,000, the Korean giant has slashed down the Note 8 price to Rs 55,900 valid on its official website, and on Amazon.in.

The price slash is a whopping Rs 12,000 reduction, and in addition to the price cut, Samsung is also offering HDFC Credit Card holders a total of Rs 4,000 cashback on the purchase of the phablet, Rs 4,000 extra exchange value on the phablet as well as no-cost EMI option on the purchase of the Galaxy Note 8.

We are not quite sure of the slash is a permanent or temporary price cut, but there are indications it could be a permanent reduction probably necessitated by the expected launch of the Note 9 in the country in a few days time.
