With multiple leaks pointing to the release of Xperia XZ3, we had no doubt that the Japanese firm could release it until the end of the year. However, since the past weeks, we had some consistent information pointing to a release on IFA 2018. Today, the company has just posted its first IFA 2018 teaser. With the “Xperia” logo we have no doubt that new smartphones will be launched in Berlin.

Gizchina News of the week
While the teases don’t show anything related to the new expected smartphones we believe that the company has more than a single device to release on August 30. Aside from the flagship Xperia XZ3, the company might be preparing a new midrange smartphone to be called Xperia XA3. When it comes to the Xperia XZ3 it will feature the Snapdragon 845 but will retain the company known large and thicker bezels and will drop the double-camera setup debuted in the Xperia XZ2 Premium.
The Xperia XA3 in counterpart should be a more modest smartphone, but it will not be a mere midrange smartphone. To be more precise, it should fit in the premium mid-range segment with a glass build, Snapdragon 660 and 6GB of RAM marking a presence in the package of specifications. At the moment, we can’t rule everything that Sony is planning to launch, so it’s better to wait until August 30. Let’s keep an eye in any possible leak coming ahead of the Xperia launches.
