Chinese First Graders Get iPads To Study Writing


Nanshan Experimental School in Shenzhen have bought 88 new iPads for it’s first grade students. The school and parents came to the unanimous agreement to buy the 4000+ yuan tablet after concerns were raised over the difficulty in learning Chinese writing for young student.
The purchase did receive some negativity from parents and the netizens alike, who worry that prolonged use of the 10 inch tablet could damage eyesight or even effect the child’s social skills.
