Realme sells over 200,000 Realme me 2 in 5 minutes, to go on sale again on September 11

As expected, the Realme 2 from Oppo off-hot – RealMe went on sale today since it was first announced a while ago. Realme says the response it received was mind-boggling as it completely emptied available stock in just about 5 minutes.

While most brands won’t reveal what exact number it sold, the Oppo off shot brand says it sold over 200,000 units in just 5 minutes during its first flash sale. The Realme 2 price in India is pegged at INR8,990 ($130/€110), and that obviously accounts for the record sales volume. The device is tipped to go on sale again in the country via Flipkartcome next week September 11, 2018.

Gizchina News of the week

Launched in India about a week ago, the Realme 2 is the sequel to the Realme 1, and Realme’s second smartphone. It is probably the first India to adopt the notched device in play at a price point of less than ₹10,000. Unlike the Realme, the device comes fitted with a fear fingerprint sensor, as well as a software-based face unlock.
