Sharp, who’ve been doing little in the way of smartphones, have just shown off a new flagship device at IFA 2018. The Sharp 801SH is another one of the many flagships we’ve been seeing at IFA, and it’s specs are on point. It features a 6.2-inch flexible OLED display with a 3120 x 1440 resolution and a wide notch.
The Sharp 801SH runs a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory. There’s a single 23MP sensor on the back of the device. Below that, there’s the usual fingerprint sensor. Standard flagship specs are basically what’s on display here. The flexible OLED is something interesting, but it’s not exactly a foldable display.

We have no idea what the battery capacity is, nor do we know the front sensor specs. It’s running on Android 9 Pie, which is good. The design of the device is pretty simple, with a plastic back making an appearance. The Sharp 801SH doesn’t seem to be a Pocophone competitor, though we’ve still got no official price.
