Recently, GoPro, which is known for its sports cameras, officially launched the Hero 7 series, including three new products – the Hero 7 Black, Hero 7 Silver, and Hero 7 White. They are priced at 3,398 yuan ($495), 2,598 yuan ($379), and 1,498 yuan ($218), respectively. The new GoPro Hero 7 series cameras will go on sale on September 27.
As the price tags suggest, the flagship model is the GoPro Hero 7 Black, which features a front and rear dual-screen design, a 12MP shooter supporting 4K 60p video recording, 2.7K 120p slow video recording, and SuperPhoto auto HDR mode. It is also water resistant up to 10 meters and comes with a touchscreen function and voice control.
In addition, the GoPro Hero 7 Black compresses longer content into short. This allows the camera to provide easy viewing and sharing of any video. For the first time, the video live broadcast function is supported, and the video can be automatically shared through the platforms such as Yingke, Huya, and B stations in real time.

The GoPro camera’s built-in HyperSmooth video stabilization system allows users to capture stable videos without the need to purchase additional pan/tilt.
Positioning the mid-range niche, the GoPro Hero7 Silver comes with a 10MP sensor, is water resistant of up to 10 meters, supports 4K 30FPS video recording and 1080P 240FPS slow-motion recording, supports for voice control, touchscreen function, but it does not support HyperSmooth (super anti-shake) function and live video.
As for the GoPro Hero 7 White, it is positioning the entry-level market and comes with a 10MP shooter, supports 10 meters of waterproofness, 1080P 60FPS video capture, supports for voice control and touchscreen function, but unfortunately, it does not support GPS, WDR, and HyperSmooth functions, and live video.
