The Huawei Mate 20 base model won’t be widely available in Europe

The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 are already confirmed for October 16 in an event held in London. Despite the European debut, some customers in the region may be out of luck if they’re interested in the base Huawei Mate 20 model.

Gizchina News of the week

According to the reputable tipster Roland Quandt, the Chinese company won’t offer the Mate 20 in large scale for European Customers. Instead, the company will do a strong marketing campaign to sell the Mate 20 Pro variant.

Although it won’t be selling all around Europe, the tipster states that consumers from Scandinavian countries such as Denmark, Finland, and Norway in the North will be able to purchase the handset. Additionally, the handset should also make a presence in Italy and Spain.

This kind of strategy may be heartbreaking for some fans of the company that are wishing to get the new flagship but can’t afford for the most expensive variant, or that simply prefer the standard Mate 20. Huawei will be limiting the availability, but it won’t be the first time.
