The renowned tipster, Roland Quandt, attacked again with some new and rather bombastic information. A lot of confusion has been surrounding the Nokia 7.1 Plus smartphone. Will the company launch a single Plus variant of the device, or there is another non-plus Nokia 7.1 handset? According to the tipster, the second option seems to be the more reasonable option.
Nokia 7.1 (4/64GB) Blue or Steel, 399 Euro. No Plus in that name.

Gizchina News of the week
During the past weeks, we have seen two distinct shots of the Nokia 7.1 front panel, two renders with a notch and another picture without it. Past rumors also pointed out that HMD Global could be preparing an upgraded version of the former Nokia 7 Plus featuring the same design for those who can’t appreciate the notch design language. Instead of Plus, this new variant would only carry the Nokia 7.1 moniker.
If we follow Nokia’s portfolio, the Nokia 6.1 does not feature a Notch, while the 6.1 Plus does. The same can be said about the Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 5.1 Plus. So it would be perfect to see a Nokia 7.1 without a notch and another Plus device featuring it.
The Nokia 7.1 is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage. The smartphone will retail for ~$464 (399 Euros). The smartphone will be available in Blue and Steel color variants.
