Video : OUKITEL WP1 and its 8 ways of a waterproof challenge

OUKITEL is recently trying to produce not just great big battery phones, but to branch out to rugged devices WITH big batteries too. The next in line will be the upcoming OUKITEL WP1 and of course it will be once again regarded as the full rugged phone with the IP68 waterproof certification. And concerning that we have a video for you today showing you the perks of being waterproof.

In the video you will see the WP1 being thrown in several kinds of liquid including cooking oil, soy source, vinegar, cooking wine, Pepsi-cola, peanut milk, instant coffee, and cleanser. Quite a tour for the poor rugged phone. But of course it survived the baths undamaged, after all it can survive in 1.5m depth for 30 minutes according to the specs of the IP68 certification.

Gizchina News of the week

But the OUKITEL WP1 will try to bring to the table more than just the rugged qualities and it will feature 5,5-inch display, Helio P23 processor, 4 GB RAM, 5000 mAh battery with 9V/2A quick charging, 10W wireless charging or Android 8.1 Oreo system. The phone should be released soon and i’m quite sure the OUKITEL will also keep the price of it extremely competitive.
