New Huawei MateBook

Yesterday, Huawei held a new product launch conference in London and announced four new Mate 20 series smartphones and the Watch GT smartwatch in one go. Honestly, we were so impressed by those new devices that didn’t notice the company also revealed some important information about the upcoming Huawei MateBook, which is set to be launched in November.

Introducing the new features of the Mate 20 series with EMUI 9.0, Huawei specifically mentioned the new Huawei Share 3.0 technology, which allows you to transfer up to 1000 photos to your notebook in 2 seconds with just one button. The company itself describes this technology in the following way:

As a key pillar supporting Huawei’s all-connected, all-scenario ecosystem, HUAWEI Share 3.0 delivers a revolutionary improvement in device interconnection, allowing users to transfer files between smartphones and PC. This is an innovative, Huawei-proprietary solution that enables device interconnectivity. It revolutionizes the way people transfer images and videos: all it takes is one tap to establish a connection between a smartphone and PC for easy and fast file sharing.

Well, when talking about this feature, there was a slide behind the spokesmen. The notebook shown on the slide is the new MateBook D announced this year. But looking attentively we can see there is a small line of notes at the bottom of the slide. It accidentally reveals the new Huawei MateBook, which will be released in November. Moreover, it will be the first notebook to support the above sharing function.

However, the company did not disclose any information about the new Huawei MateBook. Yu Chengdong did not even mention it explicitly. But it seems that this instant fast sharing function is implemented by hardware, which means that the existing MateBook is not available to do that.
