[Deal] Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite now available from $269.99

On September 19, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released the Xiaomi 8 Lite (also called Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition). This smartphone has three variants, 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The official price of these versions is 1399 Yuan ($204), 1699 Yuan ($248) and 1999 Yuan ($292) respectively. Now, a couple of easily accessible stores now have the 6GB+64GB  and it sells from $269.99. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has three highlights – a more trendy appearance, a close-to-flagship configuration, and a higher price-/performance ratio.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is packed with a 6.26-inch full-screen, a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, 3350mAh battery supporting QC3.0 fast charging, and a 12MP rear camera (1.4μm pixel size, dual-core focus, f/1.9 aperture), which is accompanied by a 5MP secondary sensor. The latter is identical to the original Mi 8. It has a 12-to-0 advantage for the Huawei P20 in the AI scene recognition. It doesnt seem a like much of a deal, if Geekbuying is selling the mid range model (6+64) for $300 when you say in your article that Xiaomi’s official price for the best memory option (6+128) is only $292! Where do you find the better prices? Your article fails to mention that?!

Third party stores usually include additional bucks. Its left for the buyer to make a decision. Moreso, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite just went global so its a bit difficult to get this smartphone outside China. These are the best deals that we can find as of now

I can understand what you are saying, online retailers have the right to make money. But it seems in Disingenuous and in poor taste for you to be stating what the Official Price is, and to them include an attachment for a retailer that charges a much higher price. Are you making a cut from posting those extra high offers from these Retailers???

You have to think with your head ok. Our readers have the right to know the official prices so if they decide to still buy at the inflated price from third-party stores, it’s their choice to make.

This is a Chinese phone. If you need one at the official price, there is always Xiaomi Youpin and Xiaomi Mi Mall to buy from. However, these stores won’t ship outside China, it’s written in Chinese, and you will be getting the Chinese ROM. There are a lot of variables as to why third-party stores increase their prices.

If you don’t want to pay the extra cash, then buy the phone 4 or 6 months after launch.

If you need to own a new smartphone a few weeks after launch, then be prepared to spend some extra cash. That’s what is mostly obtainable in the market for now
