After the serious gaffe by Lenovo with the Z5, only a few people still take this company seriously. In fact, many now believe that whatever comes from the hierarchy of Lenovo is just a smokescreen to cover a “lie”. However, it appears that Lenovo has now proven its critics wrong and the Z5 Pro is just as the company promised.
In recent times, we have seen the likes of Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 and Honor Magic 2 both using a slide screen design. Today, Lenovo released a new smartphone, Lenovo Z5 Pro with the same slide-screen design. While the Mi MIX 3 and Honor Magic 2 costs 3299 Yuan ($476) and 3799 Yuan ($548) respectively, the Lenovo Z5 Pro sells for 1998 Yuan ($288). This is one of the most interesting aspects of the Z5 Pro, it’s cheaper.
When this smartphone was released earlier today, a couple of renders and sketches were used for the event. Some still expressed doubt and needed to see some real images of this smartphone. Now, these real images are available. The major selling points of the Lenovo Z5 Pro is its full-screen design (95.06% screen-to-body ratio larger than the MIX 3 and Magic 2), screen quality and price.

It uses the SD710 SoC which is less powerful than the SD845 and Kirin 980 processor found on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 and Honor Magic 2 respectively. However, this smartphone could have easily been about $150 more expensive with a more powerful chip.
