Rumors about a true Flagship Nokia 9 from HMD Global dates back to mid-2017, and while the company is yet to confirm whether or not it is working on the so-called true flagship device, reports have it that the device will arrive as the Nokia 9 Pureview packing a total of 5 rear cameras.
Although there are no concrete leaks that point to its possible specs, aside from the 5 rear cameras, a fresh leak might have given us some more useful detail of about the upcoming device. Digging into FoXcom server, eagle eye Nokia fans have found what appears to be the internal codename for the Nokia 9 Pureview, while also revealing the OS it will boot when launched.
Gizchina News of the week
As per a report on LoveNokia, the Nokia 9 Pureview will be codenamed  Olympic and will boot Android 9 Pie (Build number: 00CN_4_030) with November security patch out of the box. Given that the Nokia 9 Pureview may not arrive until early 2019, the device running the Android version might be a test device of the Chinese variant and not the final retail version.
Although we would advise you take this info with a pinch of salt, it might not be far from the real codename, since the Olympic ring has a total of 5 rings.
For now, we have no concrete information about the release date and its final specifications, so our best bet, for now, is to join the league of those that believe the Nokia 9 Pureview might arrive as early as January 2019.
