A new smartphone from Oppo could arrive India in the following days, fresh indications suggest. Today, the company via its official Twitter account released a teaser image for the launch of a smartphone in India.
Although the tweet clearly revealed the new smartphone will launch under its R-series, we can’t say for sure what’s particular product the company intends to launch because the brand hasn’t dished out any details, nonetheless, we have a few devices in mind that could be a likely candidate for the launch.

The teaser has a GIF image that contains a very big R with an image of a smartphone beneath it but doesn’t say much, as we are now left in the dark. First off, the Chinese brand has released quite a lot of smartphones in the last couple of months, with a handful of them yet to arrive in the India subcontinent.
While we await the official confirmation of the device that might debut in Indian soon, The Oppo R17, R17 Pro and R17 NEO are all likely to be the major highlight of the event. They all flaunt identical 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a notch, an in-display fingerprint reader with variations in their internal makeup. The R17, R17 Pro and the R17 NEO use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 670 processor, Snapdragon 710 processor, and the Snapdragon 660 SoC respectively.
The Neo appears to be the cheapest of the trio, and that is why it is found with a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera while retaining the 25MP selfie cameras found in the R17 and R17 Pro. we should be getting more information in the coming days.
