Chinese manufacturer Oppo has announced that they will be bringing SuperVooc to India very shortly. The company made SuperVOOC announcement publicly just after the launch of Oppo A7 showcasing.
SuperVOOC which is evidently a doppelganger of VOOC flash charge uses the same technology of charging with bi-cell design. This new technology emerged on the basis of customer’s interaction with their phones. Speaking of the technology, the bi-cell carries a capacity of distributing 10V output Voltage and simultaneously on the safe side it reduces the voltage on an individual cell by half.

Furthermore, the technology comes with 5 core protections which analyze the device’s safety level and it protects all the nodes of USB cable, charger plug and battery individually. On top of that, the company claims to have worked with Germany’s TUV Rheinland labs (which are experts in the safety field for the past 146 years)
This new technology will be coming to India for the first time and it is estimated to reach close to 50W charging which would be a breakthrough. Using SuperVOOC charging the smartphones will now be able to get charged up to 40% in not 10 minutes because of the high amount of 50W (10V/ 5A) as an output power.
On the other side, Oppo claims to have provided fast charging feature on 90million smartphones and they believe that SuperVOOC will be another step ahead to set the bars high. Speaking of the SuperVOOC availability, the new technology is expected to surface in the country in December. However there still an uncertainty whether the upcoming Oppo’s R series will be released with the new technology or not.
