Sprint, The fourth-largest mobile operator in the US reported that it was working with HTC for the release of a 5G “smart hub” in the first half of next year. The device, which has no name, feature list, or specific release date, is supposed to “provide multimedia and connected data functionality in a compact design”. We do not know if it’s just a 5G mobile hotspot or something else.

This is the second 5G device that Sprint has committed to bring to the market early next year. In August, the company announced that it was working with LG to import the first 5G smartphone in the United States. Sprint, like all other carriers, has strongly considered 5G as a technology trend that is about to change our lives.
