Oppo R17 and R17 Pro with triple rear cameras debut in India

First announced back in August, Oppo India has just announced the Oppo R17 and Oppo R17 Pro in India. The premium Oppo R17 Pro and Oppo R17 mid-ranger are priced at Rs 45,990/ $652, and Rs 34,990/$495 respectively, and will both go on sale in the country from November 7th exclusively on Amazon and OPPO’s official website. There are a couple of launch offers including:

Speaking of the specs, the premium Oppo R17 Pro flaunts a 6.4-inch display with full HD+ resolution and screen aspect ratio of 19:9 with dewdrop-style notch, and is powered by the SD 710 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB non-expandable storage. A major selling point of the device is its triple rear camera setup – comprising of a 12MP primary camera with dual aperture feature (f/1.5 and f/2.4), a 20MP secondary sensor with f/2.6 aperture, a third Time of Flight (TOF) camera, as well as a 25MP front-facing sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Oppo R17

The Oppo R17 on the hand is a watered down version of the Oppo R17 Pro, but still with some interesting features. First, it boasts of the same 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 6 for protection with water dew notch, but has swapped the SD 710 SoC for the Octa-core 10 nm Snapdragon 670 chipset. RAM size remains at 8GB, with 128GB storage which is once again not expandable. A vertical dual rear camera setup, a 25MP single selfie master, and a 3500mAh battery round off the spec list.
