Microsoft might have finally understood that their EdgeHTML engine based web browser won’t be taking off anytime soon, or ever for that matter.
Company insiders did indeed just report to be working on a Chromium based browser to replace Microsoft’s Edge. The Chromium platform is one of the most used ones and we can find it in Chrome (duh!), Opera and Brave browsers.
Microsoft’s future web browser is currently codenamed Anaheim and we doubt it’ll be keep the Edge moniker as it’ll see major changes in pretty much every aspect.
