If the notch was the trend of 2018, it seems that this year the holes on screen will be the next trend. In the coming weeks we will see smartphones from Huawei and Samsung that will have this particular way of increasing the ratio of screen to body.
Honor has published an image about the announcement of a new smartphone, which will be presented in Paris on January 22. As you can see in the image, it seems that the front camera will be integrated into a hole on the left side of the panel.

Gizchina News of the week
The phone is probably the Honor View 20, which we do not have many details, although we assume that it will come with the latest HiSilicon chipset, the Kirn 980 7 nm.
It is also likely to continue with the same design aesthetics of most Honor smartphones of 2018, with a gradient on the back.
It’s possible we may not have to wait until 2019 to see the circular camera cutout in action. Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy A8s in China on December 10, and Huawei is slated to unveil the Nova 4 series on December 17. Both devices are set to offer a similar in-screen cutout.
But with both the Galaxy A8s and the Nova 4 making their debut in China, it’s likely the View 20 will be the first device to launch in global markets with an in-screen camera cutout.
