Xiaomi MIUI 10

A day full of updates for Xiaomi devices, especially for those of the Mi 8 family. Android 9 Pie arrives, available for the Chinese version of Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and for the global version of Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro.

We start from the latter, which is receiving the update MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.13.13 that brings the latest version of Android . A couple of weeks ago, the update was also on the China Developer ROM, reserved for devices marketed in China.

Gizchina News of the week

Being the first Global Beta it is likely that there are some bugs, which will still be resolved in the coming weeks. You can download the ROM and install it on your Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, remembering to make a preventive backup to not lose your data, or via TWRP if you have unlocked the bootloader.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, one of the most appreciated mid-range phones of this second part of 2018, is instead receiving the MIUI 10 China Developer 8.12.13 ROM, also based on Android 9 Pie. If you have purchased the Chinese version of this smartphone you can download the new ROM, but if you have the global version do not install it, to avoid damaging the smartphone.
