Recently Oppo had showcased its R17 Pro and R17 smartphones in India and now that R17 Pro is currently on sale on Amazon India, Oppo has announced the official sale date of the more affordable R17 in India.
The sale of Oppo R17 will go live from December 24 on Amazon India. The device can be bought at Rs 34,990 ($500) but there are some offers listed on Amazon denoting that the buyer can avail 3.2TB data with Reliance Jio SIM and a benefit of Rs 4,900 on purchase. Moreover, there is a one-time screen replacement and of course, extra Rs 5,000 on exchange and there is no cost EMI option available.

For the unaware, the Oppo R17 sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display addressing a resolution of 1080x2280pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC backed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The handset comes pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo-based on ColorOS 5.2. Surprisingly, the phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Coming to the imaging department, The Oppo R17 boasts a dual-rear camera setup of 16MP and 5MP sensor and at the front it carries an immersive 25MP selfie shooter. The phone carries a 3,500mAh battery assisted with custom VOOC fast charging technology. For the connectivity options, it includes Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth and GPS.
