Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi has started well by releasing the cost-effective Redmi Note 7 and it appears that the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro will even be better. Recent reports suggest that the company will launch three new smartphones in India which are Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go. Among them, the Redmi Go has recently obtained certifications from FCC, EEC, SIRIM Malaysia, and other institutions.

Not much of this smartphone has been discussed in the rumor mill but speculations have it that it uses a 5.9-inch display and runs the Android 9 Pie Go Edition system. Android Go is a simplified version of the Android system that runs smoothly on ultra-low-end Android phones. It is believed that this smartphone will come with 1GB of RAM or smaller. This smartphone will have three major selling point which includes running the recent Android 9 Pie system, having Android Go preinstalled and the Google Play Store designed for low-end devices.
In addition, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro will also be launched in India in the first quarter of 2019. The Redmi Note 7 is already available in China with a 999 yuan starting price. As for the Redmi Note 7 Pro, it will be released after the Spring Festival but the specific time is not known. It is equipped with the Sony IMX586 48MP camera which is a step above the Samsung 48MP sensor that is found on the Redmi Note 7.
