Samsung Exynos 7904 mid-range SoC released


Today, South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung launched the new Exynos 7-series processor: Exynos 7904. According to the official introduction, Exynos 7904 is a mid-range chip which is specially designed for the Indian market. It provides a smooth multi-tasking and excellent power control.

Specifically, the Samsung Exynos 7904 is based on a 14nm process and features an eight-core design consisting of Cortex A73 (1.8GHz) ×2+Cortex A53 (1.6GHz)×6. It supports Cat.12 Carrier aggregation and the downlink speed can reach 600Mbps. Not only that, the Samsung Exynos 7904 supports up to a 32MP single camera, triple camera setup, high-resolution imaging, and many new features. In addition, the Exynos 7904 supports FHD+ and 30fps 4K video playback for a vivid, near-perfect mobile entertainment experience.

Rajeev Sethi, senior director of Samsung India’s terminal solutions, said that Samsung is committed to bringing consumers world-class innovations. With the development of smartphones, the Indian market has great potential and the Exynos 7904 will provide consumers with advanced mobile internet experience. Officials said that Samsung Exynos 7904 has commenced mass production, but the first model to adopt this chip was not announced.
