The most amazing thing about the Honor Play 8A is that the Honor Play 8A shares few similarities with the Xiomi Mi Play – a budget device that was announced recently. The device comes embedded in a plastic back and metal frame coated in Black, Blue, Gold, and Red paint job.

On the rear, the device bears a single 13MP, f/1.8 main snapper with PDAF and LED flash, while it sadly lacks a fingerprint sensor, but there is a face unlock feature to the rescue. The device flaunts a 6.09-inch, 720 x 1560 pixel, IPS display with a teardrop notch, while it uses the same MediaTek Helio P35 MT6765 SoC with the Xiaomi Mi Play, but with lesser RAM size – 3GB RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of storage options. A 3020mAh battery keeps the device going, while its boots Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 out of the box.
